This course expands on traditional mosaic techniques, exploring a range of possible materials including glass, broken glassware and ceramic. Students will be encouraged in use a mix of materials. The course begins with focused technique exercises. The student will begin a piece using the technique of their choice.
Some of the techniques include:
+ mosaic with glass, stone and ceramic
+ mosaic incorporating found objects and beads
+ different surface techniques
+ mosaic for redesigning of furniture and found objects
In all courses, you will take home a finished work of art.
Price: 90 euros for 2 hours, 160 euro for a 4 hour course, 280 euro for a 8 hour course
4 hour and 8 hour courses are flexible to either 1 day, 2 days, or multiple days over consecutive weeks.
